SMASH Visual Media Volunteer

Level Trust’s SMASH Summer School is a series of four free week-long holiday programmes for 8-12 year-old children in Luton who live below the poverty line. It improves their confidence, literacy skills and social skills, and gives them experiences they’d normally miss out on.

In 2017, the two SMASH programmes are themed around drama & performing arts and football. 75 children will attend each week. That means 300 children over four weeks. That means a lot of happy children.

Receptionist

Our receptionists carry out the following duties:
greet our clients and other visitors
ensure clients know what is happening and how long they have to wait
explain the services on offer
give clients leaflets, lists and self-help materials
take records of the number of client visits and how long they wait to be seen
keep the reception area tidy
enter information into computer systems.
