Dinner Volunteer

B.1 dinner is a weekly meal and talk (usually about faith) that young people can come and enjoy for free. B.1 is on every Wednesday evening and we’d love volunteers to come along and cook, provide a talk, or just join in building this community. This is often the initial point of connection for young people who are interested in hearing more about faith and God, and we’re keen to see this project develop.

Mealtime Assistant

Volunteers play a vitally important role in the NHS undertaking a variety of placements alongside paid staff to assist and support the patient experience. Whether it be signposting on Main Reception, welcoming patients into our cancer unit, helping with the meal service, undertaking filing and photocopying, making refreshments for outpatients, taking pharmacy deliveries to wards, these are just a few of the roles where volunteers offer their support – there are many more!

Kitchen Volunteers

You will help prepare and serve teas, coffees, lunches and breakfasts and wash up and clear away. You will work as part of a team, and full training will be given by the kitchen manager. A friendly and welcoming personality is essential.
